King Of Swing Makes History in 2021 Garrard’s Miracle Mile

MENANGLE PARK, New South Wales — King Of Swing became the seventh galloper to bag the top victory in the Garrard’s Miracle Mile back-to-back. With this proud achievement in Australia’s richest harness competition, he provided himself with the shot at becoming the greatest racehorse in the iconic sprint’s history.

According to the Australian sports and racing news and information website, Racing and Sports, King Of Swing is the racehorse owned by N. McAlister, S. B. Fleming, Lincoln Farms Limited, and R. G. Fleming. He is from New Zealand and was born in 2014. King Of Swing transformed the $1-million 2021 Garrard’s Miracle Mile into a procession last Saturday evening, March 6.

The sporting event took place at the Club Menangle Trackside in Menangle Park. King Of Swing left horse racing spectators impressed during the night. The magnificent runner also gave punters, who took the $1.35, feel great assurance, per the news posted online by Australian horse racing information and news website Racenet.

After Luke McCarthy was able to control the pace, he concluded the 2021 Garrard’s Miracle Mile. His effective actions as King Of Swing’s driver also enabled the winning pacer to stroll down his home track straight in 25.8 seconds. McCarthy described the 6-year-old racehorse as merely a pleasure to ride. The driver also expressed his pride over King Of Swing, adding that the Standardbred horse is “world-class.” McCarthy’s wife, Belinda, is the racehorse trainer of King Of Swing.

The 2021 Garrard’s Miracle Mile victory of King Of Swing is his latest win. It makes him the first-ever pacer to bag the top prize in the horse race three years in a row. Horse racing analysts believed that King Of Swing deserves the trophy and that he still has more triumphant outings to come. They relayed that these events are possible considering that Twist And Twirl and Rocknroll Hanover’s son does not have soreness problems. Additionally, King Of Swing appreciates mile racing on his expansive home track.

Horse racing analysts affirm that King Of Swing is the best racehorse for pacing’s glamour run. They described him as featuring faultless manners, blazing gait acceleration, and a high cruising speed. At the 2021 Garrard’s Miracle Mile, Expensive Ego made it to second place. He is King Of Swing’s courageous stablemate who proclaimed his arrival on the Grand Circuit after the competition parked.

Meanwhile, the third placer in the 2021 Garrard’s Miracle Mile is Wolf Stride. King Of Swing has bagged prize money amounting to AU$2,224,943 in Australia and NZ$70,153 in New Zealand, based on the details posted on Racing and Sports. At the time of writing, his total prize money is AU$2,289,164.
