Question 1

Where can I find today's horse racing results?

Accepted Answer

Right here — every Australian meeting is listed as results are processed, with full finishing order, margins and starting prices. Tap any meeting for per-race detail including dividends for the exotics.

Question 2

What were today's horse racing results in Melbourne and Sydney?

Accepted Answer

Use the state and track labels on each meeting above to find Victoria (Melbourne tracks like Flemington, Caulfield and Moonee Valley) and NSW (Sydney tracks like Randwick, Rosehill and Canterbury) results as soon as stewards confirm them.

Question 3

How soon after a race are results official?

Accepted Answer

Unofficial results appear moments after the all-clear; stewards confirm official placings (and any protests) typically within minutes. Dividends are declared once all pools close. This page refreshes every 60 seconds.

Question 4

What do the margin abbreviations in racing results mean?

Accepted Answer

Margins show the distance between horses at the finish: 'nk' is a neck, 'hd' or 'nse' a head or nose, 'L' a length (about 2.4 metres), and numbers before L are lengths. A horse beaten 0.1L ran roughly a neck behind the winner.

Question 5

Where can I see dividends for the quaddie and other exotics?

Accepted Answer

Each meeting card links through to per-race detail with declared dividends for win, place, exacta, quinella, trifecta, first four and the meeting quaddie once pools close.
